NEW! we plan to explore a real-time (30-240 views/second), high-accuracy (0.002%-0.001%), low-cost, broad-range (from microns to kilometers in each dimension) 3D vision and imaging technique. The technique requires only a regular digital camera. You may even build accurate 3D images from conventional images captured by other people such as Google Street Views. See preliminary result (youtube videos) below.
HOT! Impact factors of some journals of interest here
HOT! We plan to explore a real-time (40,000-80,000 points/second) and high-accuracy (0.00002-0.00001 pixels) DIC technique for 2D/3D shape, deformation, and motion measurement. A preliminary free version is available at http://www.opticist.org
