FRENCH STUDY ABROAD AT CUA

For students taking French, there is certainly nothing more exciting than to study and travel in a country where French is the native language.  Many of our students, particularly our French majors and minors, have taken advantage of the opportunity to spend a semester or an entire academic year in France.  In an immersion situation, they have improved their speaking and comprehension skills dramatically while learning firsthand about the culture--and... having the time of their lives!

There exist many programs in France and various other French-speaking countries, but not all of them are reliable, and some are very expensive.  One way to study abroad that is virtually hassle-free is to apply to one of the programs affiliated with CUA, because your credits can be transferred easily and your financial package (scholarships and loans) is applied to your program abroad.  So once you have bought your airfare, your studies in Europe will cost no more than the corresponding time at CUA.  Note: Majors can compete for the Crisafulli grant, which provides assistance with travel costs (deadline April 15).
