In 1997/98 I spent four months as Research Professor at RCNP,
Osaka, Japan, modelling the detector for the SP8LEP-Collaboration
at
the new SPring-8 Accelerator,
Japan.
In 1996 I earned my Ph.D. in Physics at Bonn
University, Germany, performing experiments on vector meson
photoproduction
at the SAPHIR detector.
After finishing my thesis I worked at the ELSA accelerator in Bonn to
prepare
experiments for the SAPHIR and GDH collaborations.
