The 24th Annual Northeast Conference on Andean Archaeology and Ethno-history will be held on October 29th - 30th 2005 at American University in Washington, D.C. 

Co-organizers Anita Cook and Joan Gero hope to be able to offer a selection of events that would be of interest to Andean scholars on the Friday (Oct. 28th) before the conference, including a noon lecture by Bill Conklin at the Baird Auditorium, National Museum of Natural History and behind-the-scenes visits to Smithsoniancollections and the new National Museum of the American Indian.  A Friday night reception at the national headquarters of the Society of Women Geographers.

Abstracts for this meeting will be due Thursday, September 22nd
