You will need to have a WebCT id and password which I will give you at the start of class or which I have emailed to you. Your WebCT password is different from any of the other passwords (i.e. cardinalstation, computing center etc.)

WebCT is the course software we will be using for this class.  Thus any discussion in the class will be private. WebCT login names and passwords are case sensitive and your initial login and password will be in lower case.  Be sure that you have a current version of Internet Explorer. For Mac users Safari also works, it is what I use.

You may change your initial password, if you forget it I can change it for you.  If you get any strange messages from WebCT (especially ones about not having authorized access) let me know immediately. I can save you lots of frustration as I know some of WebCT's bad behaviors and how to fix them.

To login into WebCT

1. Use the following URL to go to the Catholic University WebCT server

http://webct.cua.edu/

2. Click on the logon to MyWebCT link. Do not click on create My WebCT
3. Enter your WebCT id and password
4. This will take you to the MyWebCT page where you can click on the course link to enter the course.
5. Notice that you can change passwords using the link at the top of the MyWebCT page
